Pirate's Dinner Adventure

By trisha davidson June 13, 2018

Each year, when summer begins, I get excited.   What will we do this summer?   I'm a planner, always have been so I am always looking around, searching deals, pricing things out.    Of course we do the obvious stuff- beach, fair, summer reading programs, but I also like to see or do something new.

This years newbie was going to see the Pirate's Dinner Adventure in Buena Park.  For years (yes, years) I have wanted to go.   I love anything Pirates- I think Disney broke me in early.   Last year, we visited the Koroneburg Renaissance Festival and they had an awesome pirate band; that satisfied my pirate urge for 2017. HA!

Its an expensive event and I would definitely say to search for deals and sign up to their email however it is worth it.  It is an interactive dinner.   The show started promptly and we were quickly served dinner.   Service was excellent and timely.

The stage is set on an 18th century ship.   We saw acrobats and pyrotechnics along with singing and dancing.   We watched Pirates fly on rope(s).    I attended with 3 girls- all of whom loved it.  This is definitely an event where you are attending for the show not the food. We give this place a thumbs up and would suggest to any of you that if you can afford it, it is a wonderful show and a great experience.

and by the way......Porto's bakery is right next door.  You can walk to it!  Win Win!
