Bubblefest: A review

Discovery Cube Orange Countyโ€™s spring break bubble spectacular, Bubblefest, is coming back

By Christine Bolton March 20, 2019

My daughters and I had a blast at Bubblefest last week.

When we walked in, we immediately went to the patio where it was all set up to blow giant bubbles.

My older daughter loved creating the bubbles that were as big as she is. Once she was finished with that, we went upstairs for some light refreshments before the big show.

We soon entered in the show theater and found our seats. There was a lot of excitement building in the air before the show even began. Some kids chose to sit on the floor right in front of the stage. As the auditorium was filling up, there was some trivia displayed on the screen. One of the facts that was displayed is that Deni and Melody Yang have been working with bubbles and creating art with them since the age of 4.

The show began and the audience was transfixed by Deni Yang and his amazing skills!

Deni created all kinds of bubbles, and really captivated the audience.

At one point he even took volunteers from the audience and put them in a bubble- it was outstanding!

Soon it was Melody’s turn to come on stage. She took a volunteer from the audience and taught us all how to make bubbles using our hands and bubble solution.

It was quite an amazing show to watch. Everyone in the audience seemed to be captivated by their performances.

Even the smallest audience members.

After the show we made our way back downstairs. They had an entire area dedicated to Bubblefest. From artwork, to blowing them into tubes and watching them form, to even bubble rollers.

All the kids had a wonderful experience at Bubblefest and cannot wait to go again.

amazing Mega Bubblefest Laser Show starring Deni Yang and Melody Yang. Interactive spaces include the Mega Bubble Courtyard, Water Spheres, and the Bubblefest Zone where the whole family can learn bubble science from surface tension, elasticity, air pressure, and geometric properties.
