MACARONI KID CORONA NORCO’S 5th ANNUAL FAVORITE TEACHER OF THE YEAR AWARDS
It's finally here... Macaroni Kid Corona's 5th Annual Favorite Teacher Contest is officially open for nominations.
Nominate your favorite local teacher and he/ she could win some great prizes:
How it works:
1. Nominations: Nominations will be open from April 23-May 5, 2019. No late submissions will be accepted. Nominations are open to ALL teachers in the Corona, Norco area and to CNUSD teachers in the city of Eastvale. We are not able to include other cities as our page only allows us to cover the Corona / Norco area. If you are in another city, please reach out to your local Macaroni Kid publisher and ask for a Teacher Contest in your area.
To nominate your teacher, complete this form,
then email a photo of your nominee to: Trishad@macaronikid.com
* A photo of your teacher is not required but HIGHLY recommended.
Please ask your teacher's permission to use the photo before submitting. If we do not receive a photo with your submission, we will use a stock photo for your teacher on the voting ballot. Late submissions will not be accepted as we will not be able to alter the voting ballot once it goes live.
In the event that a teacher is nominated more than once, we will use the nomination submitted first.
2. Voting: Voting will begin on May 6, 2019 and end on May 18,2019 . Photos and nominations will be uploaded to a Facebook Album on our Macaroni Kid Corona Facebook Page. Votes will be counted as "likes" ( or other reaction now that Facebook has added the "Love" and other buttons).
The teacher with the MOST "Likes" on their photo will be crowned the winner followed by second and third place. Comments on teachers photos will not count towards the tally, however are highly encouraged as the nominated teachers will be able to read your kind words.
Voting is open to EVERYONE. Feel free to campaign for your teacher by sharing on your personal Facebook page and asking friends and family to vote. It is ONE vote per person. Be sure to inform your teacher, principal and or PTA leaders about the nomination so that they may also vote and share. You are your teacher’s best cheerleader!
3. Winning: Voting will officially end at 11:59pm on Saturday May 18, 2019 . Votes will be tallied and we will have our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. In the event of a tie, we will choose a winner at random from tied nominees. These winners will be announced in our weekly newsletter on May 22, 2019. We will make arrangements with the school to deliver the prize packages to each teacher and will also inform the person(s) who nominated the winning teachers, who are welcome to join us in presenting the prize if they wish.
