5 Great Parks and Playgrounds in Corona-Norco, California

Parks and playgrounds we love in Corona, Norco, and Eastvale

By Caitlin Ayers July 9, 2021

We are lucky in the Corona-Norco area to have so many great playgrounds and parks to explore. From swings to slides, to climbing walls and water features, Corona and Norco's parks and playgrounds keep my kids active, are a great place to meet old friends (and make new friends!), and they're FREE!

I often get asked what our favorite playgrounds are, so I thought I'd share here with you my family's picks for our top five playgrounds and parks to visit in Corona and Norco.

Locations are listed alphabetically:

Citrus Community Park

1250 Santana Way
Corona, CA 92881

What we love about Citrus Community Park:

My boys love a good splash pad during the summer months, so Citrus Community Park was an instant hit. My kids ran straight to the water feature where they found water cannons to aim at one another. The pony wall around the park is a great spot to place your towels to dry off with after an afternoon of fun. There is also plenty of grass space to run around on and two playground areas; one for younger kids and one for older kids.

One of our Macaroni Kid Facebook Readers (Tiffany Horton Alvarez) shared "Citrus Park in Corona is a favorite! During Summer we get the awesome splash pad which is so much fun for the kids. The grassy area is huge and great for picnics or kicking around a soccer ball. I love that it has a big kid playground and little kid playground. And the covered picnic area is great as well."

Amenities at Citrus Community Park:

  • ADA Accessible
  • Baseball Field
  • Drinking Fountain
  • Soccer Field
  • Picnic Area
  • Playground
  • Restrooms
  • Splash Pad

Dairyland Park

14520 San Remo
Eastvale, CA 92880

What we love about Dairyland Park:

Our family loves Dairyland Park for the whole family. It's set up so that it can be used for multiple purposes. We like to come with our dogs because there is a great dog park area. My husband usually takes the dogs to the dog park area, while I take my boys to the splash pad. After we are done playing, there are beautiful, paved walkways around the park for all of us to take an evening walk.

Amenities at Dairyland Park:

  • Dog Park with Agility Equipment
  • Picnic Shelters
  • Restrooms
  • Splash Pad
  • Paved Walking Areas

El Cerrito Sports Park

7500 El Cerrito Dr
Corona, CA 92881

What we love about El Cerrito Sports Park:

This park is perfect for the athletic family. We love that there are so many different sports' fields to play on a ton of seating areas. There is also a playground area that my kids love to play on. One amazing feature at El Cerrito Sports Park that you don't see very often is the shaded bleachers. This makes being a spectator at your child's sporting event so much more comfortable.

Amenities at El Cerrito Sports Park:

  • Barbecue
  • Basketball Court
  • Covered Shelter
  • Drinking Fountain
  • Tennis Court
  • Picnic Area
  • Playground
  • Restrooms
  • Soccer Field
  • Softball Field

Pikes Peak Park

97 Sixth Street
Norco, CA 92860

What we love about Pikes Peak Park:

This may be our favorite park in the whole area; and I don't say that lightly. The playground equipment here is just some of the most fun in the area. My kids love climbing up the different playground equipment and then sliding down the twisting slides. This park is spread out with rolling grass hills dotted with picnic tables. There is also a covered picnic area for staying cool on warm days. For the adults, there is a large horseshoe game area and restrooms. We love it here!

Amenities at Pikes Peak Park:

  • Fantastic Playground Equipment for Kids
  • Restrooms
  • Horseshoe Pits
  • Open Grass Area
  • 1/2 Court Basketball
  • Gazebo with Picnic Tables

Ridgeline Park

2850 Ridgeline Drive
Corona, CA 92882

What we love about Ridgeline Park:

My family loves Ridgeline Park if you are trying to cool off on a hot day. The Splash Pad is a blast! There is not any playground equipment at this park, so most families just go for the splash pad or to have a picnic in the grassy areas. A couple of features I really enjoy about this particular splash pad is that there is a water bottle filling station as well as an outdoor shower for after playing at the splash pad. When it hits triple digits in Corona, you will want to check out this park!

Amenities at Ridgeline Park:

  • ADA Accessible
  • Barbecue
  • Drinking Fountain
  • Splash Pad
  • Picnic Area
  • Restrooms
  • Softball Field

We hope this list of top five playgrounds and parks in Corona-Norco, CA helps you find -- or rediscover! -- some fun places for your family to explore. Now get those kids out to play!

Fun and Macaroni,
